Abusoloty terrible do not join
They care more about looks and not about their mental healths. They have cameras pointing in the toilet and they lockk them when they feel like it, people who have special toilet needs the teachers dont care. When you get bullied they dont do anything and they just let it happen. they say they help students with mental health but they make it so much worse. dont join this school it will be the worse decision of your life. the teachers dont even know what they are doing half the time they are a joke.

I am a student at this school and in my years I have seen a lot of things to improve on. I’m going to emphasise on one of the things which is lack of qualified teachers for the subject they teach one teacher teaches four different subjects which ich I think is only qualified at two or three of them. Parents and students have complained about one of the teachers in this school who will be anonymous, The school has received hundreds of reports and complaints of unacceptable behaviour from the teacher yet is still teaching their and nothing has been done about it. On the other hand the reward system is amazing and their is a lot of outdoor space including a Astro turf which students can enjoy on their day on the rota , Brecon high also has a great range of sport opportunities like netball rounders cricket swimming and rugby fixtures and tournaments they also have house games we’re you can support your house to win that year . So over all this school is not great but is not the worst school in the world .
Worst School Ever!!!
This is one of the worst schools in the world, it should not be open! Teachers can NOT control the kids. Teachers also care more about looks then education, they give out negatives without reason!

verbal bullying is accepted and not dealt with appropriately. some teachers are great others leave a lot to be desired.

Why does it even exist still
Honestly idk how it’s still open, teachers are awful, headteacher is exceptionally awful, they all care more ab me having a piece of metal in my nose than if I tried to unalive myself right in front of them. They deserve to be shut down honest to god. The sixth form is a complete joke and the school don’t even know what they’re doing, takes them 2 months to even tell us an uodate ab smth ( the updates usually “I’m not sure”)
Mediocrity
School is average at best, educationally it's awful, sets seem to be placed via roulette and teachers are off more often than not, go anywhere else.
