Bad school
Absolutely terrible school with unprofessional, unfriendly staff. My child was suffering from horrible teachers and admin staff. Be aware from this school
Reasons braytons bad
The teachers call you dumb for not getting a answer write. They put students in isolation for the smallest of reason and when it comes to caring about the schools mental help they hardly care. Some of the teachers girls when we have told them not to. And teachers don’t allow us to go to the toilet when we need it. The school allows students to get away with bullying and making false rape accusations against another student and they suspend students for the stupidest things

This school is absolutely shit. These children have no freedom. My child got isolation for having her skirt to short when it was fine.

i could make a list that goes on for years
1. don’t care about any personal needs or mental health problems you are going through and you just have to get on with the work
2. if you are feeling ill it’s “see how you are in 5 minutes then let me know if you’re any better” and when you’re not it’s “let me get on call” and you don’t even go home you just have to sit doing the work even if you are in pain that it’s hard to focus
3. the homework is a lot just for 11 year old kids starting in year 7 and i can get why they do it but maybe they should be a bit more considerate about the students
there’s a lot more other things like the toilet breaks, the lesson strictness and a lot more so i would just say if you are trying to go to a school in the area go to selby high or just another school unless you are willing to go to a uncaring and selfish school then i’d pick another school
i know i may seem to be exaggerating but i assure you i’m not i wish i was and that it was better but they just do not care about it anything and most importantly students struggling with things and needing breaks from lessons sometimes

hate it they dont care about your feelings or anything and are way too strict, if your in the area go to selby instead safe urself the trouble of moving just go to selby. only nice thing is the food everything else i hate
Hell hole
Absolutely shite. The teachers don’t give a fuck ab mental health. All teachers are creeps and weird. Some teachers just stress you out with GCSEs instead of Acc teaching you. Overall shit school, shit environment and extremely overrated.
Brayton academy review.
Unfortunately, while at this academy I was not at all enjoying it mainly because of bullying and how teachers react to bullying, although they have a bullying policy, they do not handle it well. I was bullied by social media, physically, mentally and how I looked. I rate this school one star because its just a standing red flag. Full off crappy teachers, rules and students. And also the so called "head teacher" always sat in his office doing nothing but drinking tea and eating biscuits because that's what it seemed like. Shit school 👍
Amazing support
So much better than the school I went to before hand. Staff actually take Time out of their day to ensure students are okay. Yes, the corridors can be quite crowded but that's the same with multiple schools. Other than that the school has been a great help to me over the past 5 years.

This place is terrible, the good teachers get replaced constantly until they find a bad teacher who gets to stay. The discipline system is far too hard on students. The corridors are a nonstop crush and were even before covid. Don't send your kids here.

The stuff you learn is alright but the teachers can be really unfair about things and you get detentions and isolations for the smallest things
