I think it's the worst school to send your child to the bathrooms are filthy in the girls bathroom theres a missing door holes on the roof and all the girls sit in there and patch the classes and hide vapes in the bathroom roof and stand on the sinks and sit on them it's full of bullies and they do nothing about it ,the teachers are awful, also people fight everyday up in the muga and the track.
Also they don't care if they walk out of school and people steal your stuff out your pockets in the changing rooms.
I recommend you don't send your child to this school it's the worst if you like this school their is obviously something wrong with you
I am in s1 right now and its 22/06/23
the school is bad especially the toilets kids vaping smoking it's all there l don't recommend going but if your friends are you have no choice the teachers are ether very loud or very quiet the learning is ok,
There's fights every month l've got in some and won but some don't turn out like me and get demolished l recommend teachers to go to the places near the Muga.
The School is alright, but the building itself is pretty old limits on what the kids can do. And the boys toilets are filthy There’s holes in the roof is Cafe everywhere and dead mouse on the floor.
Overall good education and students often leave with great opportunities, ie college, university, apprenticeships etc.
However, the LCSC staff need to review behaviour as they were often condescending towards students with learning disabilities.
Attempts to raise autism awareness by the LCSC should have more in-depth background knowledge on what’s appropriate to use. For example, the use of the jigsaw piece as a symbol has ableist connotations and the autistic community favours the use of the “rainbow loop” instead as it celebrates neurodiversity.
Anti-bullying measures were poor - the bullies themselves were almost always let off with it and proceeded to continue with antagonising students. Should be more strict in terms of disciplining bullies in school.
On the plus side though, their attitude towards LGBTQ+ pupils are very friendly and accepting, hosting LGBT events and clubs to raise awareness.
Teachers are great with teens with all different mental capabilities. In class assistants should however review behaviour as sometimes they can be overbearing.
