My daughter and son are both in the same tear and have been targeted by teachers for having big ears which is causing my sons self confidence to decrease. My daughter is gay and has experienced bulling from not only students but also TEACHERS!!!NOT GOOD ENOUGH I am not allowing my younger children to be enrolled in a homophobic and a school like this that makes my child feel self conscious I AM NOT HAPPY!!if this carry’s on I WILL be talking to the HEAD!!!!!!
unhygienic school. If you're out here saying this school is good then you need a punch into reality because this school is dirty and the food is absolutely revolting. I've only experienced 3 years of this school and I've already had enough.
Most of the teachers are so understanding and caring. If you be respectful to them, they are to you. I wasn’t the best behaved but because I wasn’t disrespectful to the teachers it means i got more chance to explain and talk it out.
In my opinion I think bhs is a good school. It has some flaws but I don't think any other school would of been able to handle me they way they did. I recommend it a lot
The teaching in this school is great especially in the geology department.
Lynne Fox was amazing too. Such a shame to have to say goodbye to such an amazing headteacher.
Despite the lower ofsted reviews, my experience here was great.
currently attending the school as a trans and gay man, ive had so much homophobia and transphobia aimed at me and the school hasn't handled it very well, but the community is brilliant and so are the staff
