This school genuinely ruined me, and is the source of all my mental health problems. I was constantly let down by the staff. The other students there were nasty, horrible people who made my experience a living hell for 5 years straight. I wish I never went to this disgusting establishment. Please, if you have a shy, sensitive or your child struggles with mental health NEVER take them here.
I love this school it has really supported me though the years I have gone through and I 100% recommend. It has an amazing rewards system and excellent staff. The education I get there is great and i agree the outside areas because it teaches you responsibility to make sure you have a coat or umbrella. I know alot of people who complained about it but it will help you in the future.
Again I would 100% recommend and I have it and Excellent Grade.
fucking terrible, teachers don’t give a fuck about our mental health and they don’t let us use the toilet sometimes and they lock the toilets and give us detentions if we’re in the wrong toilets even if ours are locked!
They take our phones even if we’re asking to go home, they don’t believe you if your I’ll sometimes and it’s jus so bad
This school failed to support me at the lowest points in my life, and put unnecessary pressure on me and my peers. Additionally, they did not provide students with learning disabilities the correct support. Redeemed by a few good teachers, but was a bad experience as a student. That being said, I don't know if any secondary schools could do better. I hope students now find the support that was lacking for me, but personally I didn't feel supported by members of staff employed to support students like me (counsellors etc.).
This school has been pretty average during my time there, while there have been up and downs with new teachers / head teachers, it has pretty much stayed the same despite communication from the school claiming otherwise. Be aware of the no phones rule also, in my experience year 7 have a bit of a harder time to adjust if they do not adapt well, this is mainly because older years may tend to take to a disliking of the year 7 for being to head strong, as they were the biggest in primary school, or just extremely silly/annoying. But overly, it has been a pretty good experience in my journey through Bradon and would suggest if a child has bulging problems
It’s good. Nice Atmosphere and nice people. Most teachers nice. Some buildings are old so won’t have aircon so will get very hot in the summer. Also, the bells between lessons were recently removed meaning some teachers forget / don’t care to let you out on time
