Some teachers were fine, some were completely useless and som were just straight up dodgy. The leadership team only cared about the reputation of the school and the statistics that came from the students, rather than how the students were actually feeling and doing. They also had no expectations for any of their students. If you were struggling with mental health and told the pastoral officers, then their immediate plan was to call your parents. There have been lots of incidents with the police for drugs, and attacks on teachers and students. They are also in a ton of debt and don’t focus on doing anything about, which leaves the students and other teachers suffering. If there were any behaviour issues in or out of classrooms, then it was dealt with in the wrong way (eg: bullying, distracting lessons) and nothing would happen to them. However, if someone was wearing the wrong skirt/trousers or the wrong shade of black on their shoes, then they could be sent home without a second thought.
I'd rather not have an education than go back here
Never helped me knowing I'm autistic, have adhd and depression. The food made me sick quite a few times. The police were called so often, each time it happened me and my friends made bets about which year group it was. Most of the teachers can't teach, some even throw things at students and some are sexually inappropriate with the younger year group girls (he's been reported many times with witnesses). So if you want the kids to get food poisoning or be discriminated against for mental health or have to see their friends get arrested or get sexually harassed by teachers send them to Bradfield School.
This school is poor . Teachers can't teach they only teach one way . Children who don't understand the work the teacher can't help because they have no idea how to teach the children in a different way.
They is no help put in place for kids who need the help when in y9 , y10 and no help with GCSE for the children who need the help.
School uniform is expensive why dose it cost £28 for a,school blaze if you have more then one child this is a lot of money plus £15 for a pe hoodie (ect) . The government advised for school 2 keep school uniform prices down this is not keeping the price of uniform down this is expensive when you can go to Asda and get a plain hood for £5 a blaze for £10 (ect) can't understand why the school can't let the children wear a plain uniform?
The Teachers don't wear the uniform so why should the kids if the teacher don't put the effort in why should the children 🤔.
Some of the teacher don't even look smart them self so how do they expect the children to have respect for them if they don't put the effort in them self. Teacher should wear the uniform 2.
This school has a lot of issues and a lot of problems what need sorting out.
No help put in place for kids with mental health problems. Bullying not delt with properly (ect) This is just some of the issues the school has.
Used to be a good school once apon a time back in 2012 not now .
Wouldn’t put myself through that much torture again with the short supply of mental health support, food makes me sick see little hairs, no gloves. See police every week, drugs and smoking and students under alcohol. Head teacher only cares about uniform
a lot of bullying, the food is pretty bad eg hairs in food, majority of teachers are useless there are a good few, many incidents involving police, the system never gets used or used for all the wrong things, very unclean litter everywhere eg in toilets and no help with mental health at all they care more about uniform and attendance
Majority of staff are friendly and are clearly trained appropriately in their profession. However, the social environment around the school could be improved. Bullying and related issues are not common, but definitely aren't non-existent. Problems such as poor behavior management have been improved, but certain events could have been dealt with better. There are no issues at all relating to poor sanitation, and the area is well looked after. Overall the staff do a brilliant job at what they do, but issues relating to the social environment still persist.
no mental health help or good physical or mental health coaches or counsillors. lots of bullying especially of lgbt and bad “lad” culture. lots of bad behaviour and inconsistent uniform. no handling of naughty students that leave lesson and scream the building down daily, disrespecting the staff. actual teachers are sound and really good, but SLT and higher staff are a joke
