The worst of them all
The lowest education standards
If you value good quality education in a safe and nurturing environment do NOT send your children here. The quality of teaching provision is appalling at best. Complaints raised directly with the headteacher, even those relating to health and safety are immediately dismissed resulting in the need for reports of bullying and wounding to be reported to Lancashire Police (who fortunately took the issue seriously enough to visit the school). School dinners are appalling, of small size and poor quality to which the headteachers unhelpful response is if you don't like it send a pack lunch. Would strongly suggest look gin at alternative schools - Ribblesdale for instance.
Avoid
So bad. 19 teacher leave in a year, maths taught by unqualified persons. How did such a great school fall so low
Ehhhhh
There are some really great teachers here, but also some worse ones. The support system is dubious, and some teachers tend to overreact. I have received help from various teachers throughout the school for mental and physical issues but this took many months for me to actually receive this much-needed support. I don’t think it’s great it’s just the ratings lol
Don’t go here
Personally I had an awful experience with this school. They told me I was lying about mental and physical issues. There bullying policy is awful. I was bullied by many people and I got excluded for finally sticking up for myself. Awful…would rather go to ribblesdale high and that’s saying a lot
