As a current secondary school student, I often think about bobbing and how it shaped me as a person today. They helped me build my confidence, deal with my anxiety, and learn how to navigate social situations and make new friends. Everything on the curriculum that they taught me was perfect, as it gave me the perfect foundations of knowledge to build on when I got to secondary school. All of the teachers there were absolutely lovely people, all very kind and obviously cared a lot for their students. It was a very clean school and well looked after. As the school was small it meant that there was a greater sense of community, that was greatly felt throughout my time there. Behaviour was dealt with very effectively and good behaviour rewarded. We frequently had sessions during the school week that were set aside for reading too, an activity that was greatly enjoyed by everyone in my class. Although we did lots of schoolwork, we always had space for fun too, and did lots of exciting activities, not only as a class but with the rest of the school. We often had school trips and were very active in the local community, taking part in things like litter picking to clean up the environment surrounding the school. I remember bobbing very fondly and I highly recommend it as a contender for your child’s primary school. It was the perfect experience for me, and I hope that it will be for your child too.
