DON’T GO HERE

Whatever you do don’t go here !
The teacher are really strict and don’t care about the students only their grades, they care more about our shirts not being tucked than if someone is being bullied . My friend suffered bullying 3 years ago and he told the teachers , and to this day he still gets bullied and the teachers don’t do anything about it . The students get an ridiculous amount of homework which apparently takes “ 30 minutes “ which in reality it actually takes about 1h - 1h30mins . Now lets get into detentions , they give them out for absolute no reason , once I had to write a whole page about the subject we were doing when the teacher wasn’t in , the next day when she read mine she said “ it isn’t colourful enough “ so she ripped it and gave me a 2 h detention on the end of class on a Friday ( which we just sit there, we don’t even do homework or work we just sit in a room without tables just chairs and sit looking at the clock for 2 h )
Believe me please don’t go there, only if you want severe mental health issues and get overloaded with work this is the perfect school .

Not a good option for your child

Not the best. There are a few things to talk about here. First of all, the homework is absolutely ABYSMAL. The teachers will always say “the homework will take 30 mins”, but it takes HOURS to complete. Speaking of the teachers, they are the strictest people ever. I got a “warning” for holding my pen whilst she was talking! And then, the teachers give “negative points” for things that aren’t even relevant! And don’t even get me started on the “detentions”. I have heard that someone had gotten a “detention” for saying sorry in a line! They use “detentions” as their regular punishment instead of just telling someone to stop or lecturing them. The students are horrible to new students, such as me who joined in February. One of them even admitted that they were mean to me just because I joined recently! Such a poor excuse to be horrible to someone. The only thing good about this school is seeing your friends, but even THAT is a limited experience as you cannot even run in the yard area! The rules are absolutely insane too, because you cannot even wear coats inside. They are literally so strict that im scared to publish this review, as they monitor the students devices to an insane extent. Whilst the achievement rates are probably some of the highest in Stafford, the students mentalities are something out of a horror show. If you are thinking about coming to this school, You may experience high “grades” and do very well, but you will not feel good coming into the school. I don’t feel safe here and feel as though I can’t do anything about it, as if I somehow managed to stay and talk to my form tutor, then when I got to my class, the teacher wouldn’t be happy, and my classmates would be horrible to me about it.
