I used to get bullied in different scenarios and whenever I went to my teachers about it, they told me to go to either my guidance teachers (deputy heads) or the headteacher themselves, but they never helped me solve the issue and instead gave the bully a slap on the wrist rather than something severe. I only realised they finally got someone useful, as I was leaving the school to move onto college. This one boy kept saying racist stuff to me for the past year and I never retaliated in anyway, I was waiting for it to calm down because I thought he would leave me alone. After the first few months, I eventually told me my mum who then complained to the school. Apparently the school spoke to the boy and after a few days, he found me heading to a shop during lunch and continued the abuse.
Unrelated to the last subject, but we had a drama teacher who I always avoided, both in and out of class. One day, she "jokingly" told me to basically go home and never come back. It kinda damaged my motivation to continue my last year of high school so I never and waited 9 months at home before my college course started.
Aspire: Abuse, Slander, Pressure, Incompetent, Reckless and Egocentric
This is the school of nightmares, while there are a handful of great teachers there are many more who are fully incompetent and only care for the grades and not the mental well being of the students. This is a school that puts on a front to make it seem like a good place to send your kids but in reality it’s a bullying hell hole. Do not fund, send your kids here. This school has been a lot cause for over 10 years now and it’s only getting worse.
This school is a joke with all the bullying I have been in this school for 3 years and all I have got is harassment from other people some teachers are really nice and do there best but there are some teachers that just don’t care and do nothing about it this school does not deserve one star
Hub for bullying. This school is a joke I've seen many kids get bullied and my closest friends were and still getting bullied here. My best friend now have severe anxiety due to this. The school likes to think it's above and beyond and better than any other school…its anything but that. Class rooms are like zoos teachers don't care about your mental health only care about your grade Furthermore, if you are a ned who gets partner roomed all the time and wears stuff like Nike and adidas’s, teachers will love you, if your very loud always get in trouble and wear certain clothing brands ( Nike and Adidas) you will definitely be popular. Anyone who is just average or stand out from everybody else will get cyber bullied on social media and physically beaten to a pulp. Almost all the pupils are disrespectful to the school and to the public. School cares more about your work level than the mental health crisis in their walls. Joined this school in s1 and left years later so I’ve seen it all. One of the worst places I've ever been. This school left me with PTSD and my best friend, Severe Anxiety
Parents...if you want your children/child to be happy, send them to a different school (can't speak for any other school).
I know that this review will be taken down by Blairgowrie High so they trick people into thinking their a good school I will keep reposting this review if it keeps getting taken down
