    Careless teachers

    My experience at this school has been extremely disappointing. Many of the teachers seemed careless and made students feel like their problems were not taken seriously. The school claims that students can talk to staff about anything and feel safe, but from my experience, that simply wasn’t true. Bullying was also a serious issue.     Terrible school from teaching to students

    Terrible school, my child just left for Bostonspa,Teachers give it all large during the meetings but it's empty, especially for SEND kids,school has some rough Roma kids with no manners,would not recommend.They don't even have any good after school clubs like other schools.

    Corrupt management !

    Kids are nice and mostly well behaved, you can actually reason with them and have a good respectful relationship but if you work as a supply teacher dont stay more than a month : they will find ways to get rid off you without valid reason or lie that kids have made allegations against you if you reach 12 weeks just so that they dont increase your daily rate. For a school that is supposed to uphold christian values, treating people this way is despicable and not very Christian

    shittiest school in Leeds

    Bullying is such a big problem in that school. Teachers dont care about any complaints about bullying. Its gotten so serious to the point where my friends daughter had enough and killed herself. My child also in the past had suffered from bullies (she moved to Trinity now) and when she would report the students the teachers did absolutely nothing. PARENTS SAVE YOUR CHILD MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS BY GOING TO THIS SCHOOL!!!! I recommend letting them go to Trinity Academy (on torre rd) or Roundhay's school. Your child will thank you.

    FULL OF CREEPS AND SADISTS

    Absolutely VILE and HELLISH in every way! most Teachers are uncaring and sadistic, the Food was seemingly brought up from hell to just to cause mass suffering upon all students who dare need to eat during the day (they don't even take you seriously if you tell them the food is undercooked, and the worst part is the sheer amount of creeps in the school staff!     My son was assaulted at this school a couple of weeks ago, and nothing as being done about it, the teachers don't even phone you back when you phone up to see what action has being taken. Now my daughter is getting bullied and being threatened, so having to take her out of this school. Teachers are not interested in sorting bullies out. Kids are not safe at this school.

    Thank you! Yes, that is the same school, unfortunately. They thought changing the name of the school and replacing some teachers was going to get rid of the bad reputation. From what I'm aware, from the people I'm still in contact with, half of my year group left this school and went to Leeds East Academy or elsewhere who then had to pick up all the pieces. I honestly don't know how this place is still open.

    I am sorry you experienced that and are still traumatized ? Is that the same school - Bishop Young Church of England Academy - on the news with video going viral of 30 students who ambushed 2 girls - beat them up and tossed them in the lake? I am glad you got out of there. Sounds like a terrible place.

    They do not care

    I was only at this school for a year and it was the worst time of my life. If you are bullied at this school they really couldn't care less,in fact,I was told to grow up,accused of lying about it and threatened with the police if I was, which is ridiculous. They made me question myself all the time. They also seemed to get some kind of twisted joy out of placing you in a group with people who were blatantly bullying you. The teachers, some of them were okay, at most, but overall, absolutely not....
