Bishop Douglass School Finchley

I hate this school! This is school annoys the soul out of me . Teacher have no respect towards students, they will insult you in from of your classmates , they if you get an answer wrong or you don’t understand something they will make fun of you in front of everyone. Once I had to read in from of the class and I asked the teacher how do I pronounce a word and she did not answer my question. If you say good morning to teachers on corridors they completely ignore you. I walked in my lessons so many times crying and the teacher didn’t even ask me what’s wrong. If you are upset and you have a problem,they will tell you ‘I have a lesson right now I can’t talk to you just stay calm’ . They never listen! Once I cried in school and a teacher saw me on corridor and she was with a visitor and she started acting up in from of them asking me if I need anything and if I m alright, all fake! They don’t care ,they do it for the school reputation and they wanna act like such a good ,calm school but EVERYONE IN THIS SCHOOL IS DEPRESSED . They act so much when people are coming to visit the school and they tell us if we don’t behave we will end up with a detention. They care so much of what ofsted says ,but they never care about our opinions! No one is happy in this school and everyone wants to leave .

The school is not that good of a school their are other better schools

Brilliant school! Although some of the teachers are terrible, most of them are actually amazing and funny and make lessons way more fun and interesting. The students are also great, especially me of course. I definitely recommend the school to anyone living in Finchley.

Brilliant school, understanding teachers, welcoming students... What I can say is that I loved my experience at Bishop Douglass. The system of teaching is very efficient.
