Do not send your child to this School if they are of any minority. Especially autistic children and LGBTQ children. The students here bully anybody they can find a reason to bully and the staff are utterly useless when it comes to dealing with it. A lot of the staff are rude and clearly inexperienced in dealing with bullying. This school caused me to develop a self-harm problem, social anxiety, body dysmorphia, and have suicidal thoughts.
My Ongoing Experience
I've been at Beckfoot since year 8 and have continued right through to Sixth Form, a decision I am readily regretting. I've experienced bullying, days where I've had multiple panic attacks, and what do the teachers do? Nothing. I once vented my heart out with all the problems that have left my heart heavy with negative feelings, and the teacher I was speaking to didn't help me get booked into any counselling sessions with Place2Be (nor did the Sixth Form team when I had been dissociating, in which they said they would help me book a place for a quick starter session), and all she did was call my mother, which did not help at all. There are some teachers (do NOT choose Psychology A-Level, because there is one extremely apathetic teacher that teaches the course) that do not care for a student's mental health and personal issues. The amount of homework given is OUTRAGEOUS! I'm not readily prepared, nor have the time to do an extra 15 hours of work every week! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE

this school is a disgrace,the headteacher forced a muslim girl to take her hijab off or she will recieve isolation,i just want to know why,just why are they doing this,this school is lacking in a lot of things and it's not even the students bullying eachother,this is litterally the head of the whole school bullying a girl in like year9-year 10,what i don't understand is they are fine with non-muslim girls walking around half naked but when a pious young clean woman is covering her body so pervets like this headteacher don't stare at them all day,it's a big problem
The real side of Beckfoot
I’m a student who just left beckfoot doing my GCSE’S. The school does not deserve the reputation it has. It is horrible and especially when it comes to bullying and mental health. Even when I refused to go into classes they refused to help. They only helped when I admitted to self-harm but it should have NEVER got to that point. It’s disgusting how they get a good reputation please never put your kid through this school.

Beckfoot is an awful school. I’m in year 11 now and stopped going in when schools opened from covid again. Beckfoot is disgusting and terrible with mental health and bullying. I’ve was bullied often and the school did nothing and usually side with the naughty/popular students. I did not go to school for over 2 years due to the depression and anxiety this school gave me over the years. I ended up feeling suicidal and under stress all because of this school. If anyone is thinking of taking their kids to beckfoot, don’t do it for the sake of them. This school needs sorting out.

Really bad school head teacher don't care about the students at all there all just a number to them bullying is the main thing nothing gets done about it and when staff are questioned they lie and manipulate the situation the school should definatly not have the ousted they have please avoid sending children to this school at all cost my child has never has a dinner here due to other older students stopping him from doing so i wish I was told before sending my child
