There are many things i want to point out about Beauchamps
*first off, the consequence system is terrible. if someone is a few seconds late, their phone will be taken off of them. What is that going to do?? also, the teachers say you can't chew gum, and yet it's all under the tables and on the chairs. yuck
*the food is actually quite nice, however, the queues are ridiculously long. And they wasted money buying these barrier things for only one part of the canteen. It takes up space and no one uses it- people still push in front
*don't even get me started on the homework. students get so much of it to do in such a little amount of time. like, what??
*the teachers are terrible at dealing with things like bullying. also, might i add, a year 7 girl got upskirted and she told the teachers, but they IGNORED IT.
*some of the teachers are just unsympathetic towards the students
Beauchamps, you really need to sort yourself out. At the very least, stop pretending to be such an amazing school, cause trust me- you're not :/
One kid a few days ago got pushed down the stairs and broke both his legs. I don’t think there needs to be much more to it man literally is walking on two broken lollipop sticks.
also with the rating for personal development, in year 7, i was normal. I now am a depressed transgender with a retreating will to live so good work on the development i guess??
It’s okay. Good education but some teachers can be really condescending at times. Especially with me. I’m neurodivergent and they just ignore me or tell me off for not understanding or getting somewhat sad over it. Some of the teachers guiltrip too and don’t do anything about bullying, especially homophobic remarks. As a gay person, I’m uncomfortable. Also fix the toilets, I cannot tell you the amount of times I’ve had to deal with somebody’s blood smeared on the walls or the toilets not flushing.
The homework’s stupid too. Sometimes, as a top set student, I get 2 bits of homework per subject and some of it hasn’t even got a week to do it. Once, I had a day but was extremely busy that day and couldn’t do it. Got a detention after school, even though I said I had a doctors appointment. Ended up missing it. It’s overwhelming honestly
Ah. Cant forget when I was 1 minute late to class due to an injury making it hard to get up the stairs, giving me a C3.
Food. We only get half an hour for food and the lines half an hour long. We don’t get to eat. Come on Beauchamps, sort out your stuff.
Schools terrible that’s all I can say
thank you french and english department for taking the time to understand and help me when i stopped talking and would refuse to, instead of forcing me and borderline threatening me to talk. the two certain teachers (one french teacher and one english teacher) have helped me more in the past year than any one else and i thank you anonymously. you seriously changed my life for the better :)
This school gives us good results but at a cost of our mental health at times. We get lots of homework with the occasional no homework week which gives it a little balance, however the schools mental health support team is appauling in my experience when i went to them all they did was give me a website to look at and no follow up appointment to check up on me, in my opinion i think they only care if your results are being affected. I also haven’t had a single sex ed class in 3 of the 4 years i’ve been there. This school focuses too much on academics than real life knowledge that we need for the future.
It’s a good school other then it feels like a prison. It has gates everywhere and there has been rumours that their are cameras everywhere including in the r toilets for years. Nobody knows if that’s true. Some teachers are nice but think that we don’t get homework from other subjects so they give us tons and expect it in it 2 days time! Like what?!
