I was bullied badly here through year 7 all the way to year 11. So glad to be gone, it's been on the news for it's bad dealing of situations, because they DO NOT take bullying, racism, or anything of the sort seriously! Nailsea school has much better support, and so does churchill.
The sheer amount of reports from students and parents about this should really settle in your head, AVOID THIS SCHOOL!
not very good teachers or ways of teaching , behaviour is responded too in horrific ways and is an unenjoyable place to be , they don’t take bullying or mental health seriously , wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless they want to be put through hell.
This school hasn't unfortunately met a lot of expectations for me. Firstly, there is not a good dealing strategy when it comes to bullying, the teachers either have done nothing or not done a good job at dealing as 8 times out of times it happens again and especially its not only me that has been bullied, many students as well have felt unhappy and unsafe, as do I. I have been tormented on for my ASD and the fact I come from another country of which is DISCRIMINATION and have even had photos of me uploaded on social media behind my back and been assaulted by older kids. I have even have sometimes I have been sent to to detention for only standing my ground. The school also says they have done 'a good job of ruling out disablism, racism and homophobia' and they have a 'zero tolerance policy on bullying' which is not in anyway true. Secondly, some teachers have been exceptionally rude, shouting at me and even telling me to 'go to the baby room' (referring to detention). Especially that some teachers have not been good teachers and especially us students have struggled on the school subjects and are having to deal with COVID and exams coming up in a few months. Thirdly, the school site has a lot of bullies and dodgy people and many students have felt very unsafe in the school as a whole. All in all the school does need a severe check in behaviour and bullying as they are not up to any level which is considered acceptable for a public secondary school.
racist comments all the time, and they did nothing lol
ok education though, not worth it
they bullied autistic people and the teachers just watched it all
someone even made a bullying account for an indian person to be racist using curry and slurs, the school didn’t do a lot either.
