this school is shocking. teachers don't care about you. i mean if you want your child to become depressed and stripped from their identity i mean sure why not send your kids to this youth club. Again back to the teachers, they are all hypocrites. the school cares more about wearing your blazer and baggy trousers so no one can see your figure? why does that effect you wearing leggings and jeans then your mental heath. the teachers don't respect the children but expect respect to be given back. they treat the children poorly. My friend at school was put into a day of isolation because she was wearing makeup she has some acne on her face that she is really self conscious about it so she put foundation on to cover it and myself I have a big forehead so fill in my eyebrows to make the appearence of it smaller. I think it's disgusting that the teachers sit there with there face caked in foundation and punish us for wearing makeup because we have our own insinceritys about our face there is a reason people wear makeup if it increases self confidence then why is it a problem ?

The teachers can be funny and very nice sometimes but shout and get you in trouble for the littlest of things like coloured socks or drinking water in class or going to the toilet or staying inside . Teachers don’t really get involved when it comes to bullying and threats

Avoid this school if possible. It looks like it's falling down, the teachers only care about grades and its just not great overall.

Overcrowded, terrible teachers, horrible students.

Right I’ll talk about this school one by one based on my reviews. Satisfaction - honestly my worst years the thing that kept me going was my friends and some teachers but that’s it the people in charge are that bad at dealing with things i opted to move schools but unfortunately had to stay because there were no spaces available. Academics - not too bad you learn I guess and when you get to year 11 they put plenary of revision sessions on but there is an extreme lack of help during these times. Indoor environment- absolutely terrible! The corridors are too small and way too crowded you are literally touching everyone around you there were times me and my friends had to grab onto eachothers bags because everyone was trying to get past at once and when I mean ‘ times ‘ this is up to 5 times a week. Along with this, when it is raining you cannot be inside so everyone just goes to the toilets therefore if you need the toilet you can’t go ! And then you get told off in lesson for needing the toilet and because too many people go they put a ban on going in lesson times which isn’t good if your a girl on her period. Outdoor environment- not as bad but there is no where to go really I mean I wouldn’t know what to expect but there could be something more. Safety and security- AHAHAH what a joke I’ve litrally stood and watched teachers see kids running out of the gates they are not even monitored you just press a button and you can walk right out plus at the beginning of lunch the gate is just open so people just walk out anyway more people probably go out than stop in and school does nothing about it. Activities- I would give this 5 because there not too bad on celebratory activities at the end of the year you get to go to a theme park or somewhere like a cinema, during the year there are small rewards such as ice skating and laser tag however for someone who always did their work, handed in their homework and never got a detention I never got one of these rewards however the people who disrupt all the time and are always in detention seem to get these rewards often and the big one is France in Y10 where you just get to relax for a week doing different activities. Teachers - teachers vary, some are so nice and helpful and most importantly approachable while some you can feel very nervous and unsafe around and sometimes feel like school need to do better background checks on some of the teachers. One of my old teachers have a very questionable Facebook page making me wonder how they got hired. Handling bullying - well ... they don’t the best thing they do is get a statement from you get the person make you sit in a room together and they will sit there sucking up to the teacher with all these ‘ I’m so sorry ‘ I never meant it in that way ‘ and they then allow them to talk about you more and shame you for going to the teacher and all the heads of year say is ‘ what do you expect me to do I can’t stop her from talking can I ? ‘ along with this you can never find them and I mean never !!! It once took me over a week to find my head of year about having these girls shout horrible things at me down a corridor literally following me around the school I was in absolute tears I was so glad my English teacher was there for me oh and you guessed it nothing happened by it. School information- well they shove that in everyone’s face to try and cover all their mistakes. Equal rights - well there’s been no discrimination or anything while I’ve been there so I guess 5. Food - food went down hill but not too bad depending on your taste some nice things however it isn’t nice when your eating a bun and there is a chunk of butter in the icing. Sports - THE NICEST TEACHERS THERE ARE !!! Well give or take one or too as well as pe they also do other lessons and they are the best they help you so much and are always there for you and take a genuine concern in your problems they also host the Y10 France trip. Code of conduct- they say it and shove it in your face and enforce it for a week maybe 2 don’t care for a term or two then suddenly everything your wearing is so wrong and a disgrace !!! They don’t give a f*** until they have to . My personal development ? Well in year 7 I was happy and confident and year 11 I have been diagnosed with severe anxiety mild depression and I constantly worry about my looks. If you are going to come to this school you need to be mentally stable and prepared for the worst on first view it doesn’t seem to bad but when you look back on it all you realise how poorly everything has been handled.
