Very bad school. Teachers dont even give homework booklets out and then the students get punished for it. Also, the substitute teachers don't know how to teach. There were ants on the side of the table when I first arrived (in the canteen). V. O. I. C. E. is useless and PSHE should be in tutor time.

Tons of homework, you get stressed and then you get 3 negatives when it's not even your fault. Also, you're outside in P. E when it's in the negatives. Not enough time for lunch or break. New lineup system is awful. Lack of good equipment for students. Also, seagulls
EVERYWHERE. PSU (Student support) don’t even do anything when you tell them you’re sick. They need to have longer lunches for the kids that take a long time to eat, me being one myself, they need to make it longer.

This school is a prison it is not worth coming. They dont let us go to the toilets only at "break or lunch" but we cant because half of the time people are in there. Teachers dont fix situations like bullying or problems with teachers. Half of the time the teachers arnt here so we have supply and they say we havent done enough work when they dont give us any it is unfair and can i say the food is terrible taste like carboard. Wish i could give 0 stars and unfortunately i am still at this school cant wait to leave.
Sourt your stuff out
I’m a current kid at AHA and I thinks it’s terrible as we don’t have freedom in the school not aloud to go toilet not aloud to go fill your bottle up gets only like 10-20 minutes of lunch not food to pick out of seems like teachers only want to be there for money most are horrible anyways to busy to listen to your problems to much homework and don’t let kids have a life no seperate toilet for boys and girls
Don’t come to AHA
I’m a current student for AHA but i thinks it’s a shit hole and how we have liturally basically 25 mins for lunch as most teachers let me out like 5 mins late then it takes me like 2-5 to get up to footie so that’s like 10 mins of football if yu go up and then yu have to come down at 12:15 like add more time and also teachers are more focused about giving out detentions for stupid reasons then actually teaching lessons
Bullying and more
This school is discusting the students are like hooligans, my son is still being bullied even though the teachers are a aware of it it's still Carrying on. My son is in year 7 as missed few weeks at school due to bullying!!! You have students throwing each other into the roads car coming or not what a disgrace to see.

terrible school
got excluded for telling my opinion to ofsted and feel like ofsted should visit the school a lot more i also got bribed to be good in front of ofsted 5 fights in one day and unfair exclusions to certain individuals judges students on there past behavior and assumes everything is there fault so do not recommend to any year 7s who wanna join this school because you will regret your decisions and not have any freedom of speech.

I used to be a student in arnold hill i got kicked out for one incident and that was a fight and the other students did not get anything so i basically got picked on and now they are moving me to another school which is going to be very bad for me.

Good school for my child
It is a fun school for my child and has lots of extra curricular clubs. My child is learning lots of new stuff from her teachers who really teach well.

No more independence
I think it’s ridiculous we don’t get to walk to our lessons or go around the school. We have no freedom or independence and most of us have now been vaccinated
Not much support or freedom
Tend to make promises and don’t stick to it. It’s very much picking and choosing when it comes to who to help. It’s hard to get support and even so you do not get any freedom walking around the school and have to be escorted in a line to your lessons

i am currently a student at AHA and i honestly am not a huge fan of this school. Especially B-Block. Before i leave this school at Yr 13, i'm probably going to get lung cancer from the amount asbestos in the air. I'm surprised they haven't taken it down to rebuild it. Since COVID, the lunch has been terrible, at least from where i have to get it. Some teachers, in my opinion, need to get sacked. I'm surprised that they haven't yet, honestly. More on B-Block, it's falling apart. The ceiling is way too low, some tiles are gone, there are cracks in the walls and there's no air con at all. A-Block isn't good either, but it's no where near as terrible.
Pick and choose who to help
It’s ok for very confident students who can manage everything alone but when it comes to help they aren’t much help at all. There is a support system in place for extra needs if they believe you have issues or need the help, but I think it’s quite hard to get into there unless your problems are very obvious. I wouldn’t say they’re very good at noticing or helping mental health. And the way they deal with bullying situations is awful

Personally I didn’t like the school, some teachers were lovely and helped me a lot yet some of them were terrible and wouldn’t help me when i was getting bullied or having a really bad time

It’s ok, the only good bit about the school is the lessons, other then that I’m not really that bothered about it
