this school, if you can even call it that, causes me more problems than it has EVER solved. the kids? most of them are egotistical assholes and/or homophobic. the teachers? while a select few are good, the rest are terrible and can rarely control the class, and instead resort to sending kids to cool off at the slightest hint of disobedience. and instead of giving help to those who are behind, just treat them terribly. all in all, shitty school, don’t send your kids here
This school is terrible. I regret ever sending my children there. They don’t take appropriate measures in protecting the children in their care, whether it’s their attitude towards children’s needs and/or behaviour or their well-being. I’m utterly disgusted with most of the staff and how they choose to treat the children and carers. Utterly rude and cruel to both. They choose to escalate small issues instead of taking appropriate action, and then choose to ignore actual problems??? If you ever thought about sending your children here DO NOT DO IT!!!
There are some aspects which are all right ig but others not. The students are awful, constantly starting drama over nothing and are extremely homophobic I’ve been Calle the f slur multiple times and the teachers don’t even know what a slur is.
Safeguarding is up the f***
Most of the teachers can’t control the class so we mostly just have a lesson on how to yell qt obviously distressed students
I understand that it’s an incredibly small school but the learning gap between the 2 sets in the upper years is awful. Some kids are getting 8s/9s and then others are getting Us. I’ve heard a few teachers saying that they were only going to concentrate on the kids that are getting “the grades” rather than those not. I understand this if the kid getting the grades was trying rlly hard at school doing their hw and basically being a teachers pet but there are some kids trying really hard and unfortunately not getting the grades which u can see where that leads too.
Most students are sexist as well as a few teachers
ALL kids have cried bc of school and particular teachers and that’s not even bc of the stress of GCSEs.
The staff think they can solve transphobia homophobia and racism by hanging up a few stonewall posters saying some ppl are gay get over it and then do absolutely nothing when a kid is being subjected to homophobic bullying.
There’s only 1 great day tbh and that’s rewards day which the school amazingly gets right. The bump out the giant inflatables and everyone genuinely had a lot of fun
This school is ok I learn sometimes but is not very accommodating half the teachers can’t control the class some of the teachers swear in there class some of the teachers can’t even teach at all you are put on report when you didn’t even deserve it there is blatant favouritism and they are sexist they don’t do anything when it comes to bullying especially homophobia the re lessons on homosexuality is very offending and not very considerate I would not recommend this school to anyone all my friends are leaving the school because it is bad
