i went here 2020-2022 and left last summer, the school was pretty terrible, there was one german teacher (i wont name names but you will probably know him from what i will describe) who basically bullied my entire class, i have seen him bring 3 different students to tears on different occasions, he made fun of peoples clothing, he accused a girl who had a panic attack in a test of being "attention seeking" and before i was about to leave made constant comments about how he wouldnt miss me, how i would be better gone etc and they really had an effect as i left and started a new school. i know i probably sound dramatic but he can really go to hell. there were incidents of things being stolen or broken and the teachers did not care, i was a part of the lgbt club there, which was seperated by age which resulted in a much smaller sense of community with the lgbt youth of the school as younger people did not know older people and vice versa. on the plus side, i had some very charismatic and smart teachers, i think my education was good, even if it was terrible for my mental health.
I believe I am
College is going much more for there students and they get looked after more and it feels that Alsager school should up there game because the collage has got special rewards and it’s number one in the whole country
honestly disappointed by how the school seems to primarily care about the presentation of people: hair colour, piercings, makeup etc. what’s really disappointing is the lack of support the school offer people and their obliviousness and ignorance of large-scale incidents such as sexual assaults, hatecriming and much more that has been brought to their attention many times.
I left this school in 2018. I joined here in 2016. I’m now 18. I still have good communication links with this school every now and again as I like to keep my teachers updated on how I’m doing in my life. They really took good care of me during my time at alsager school and I had a great time as a student at alsager because I had a better range of gcse options at that school than I did at my previous school I was at. Couldn’t recommend this school any more. I’m proud to have joined as a student at Alsager.
