I liked this school, truly, until year 1. I don’t like change, so when I had a substitute teacher for the day, I cried to my parents to take me back home. They took me to the heads office where I was violently pinned down (hand, feet, and head) to the floor by the head (at the time) as I screamed and cried for my parents as they were shouted at to leave because they were “upsetting me more”. This was probably the most traumatising thing that’s ever happened in my life so far (I’m in secondary school at the moment). I can’t describe how much that messed me up, and my fear of school only got stronger. So if you like a school that allows your children to be pinned to the floor like they’re in a maximum security prison without any consequences for the person who did it (not in the school anymore) then go ahead.
On another note, this is definitely a school afraid of change, progress, or anything not to do with the church.
All my children have had an excellent experience of All Saints. A one form entry school may not be the best choice for you if you need Senco help for your child but we have found it is a lovely, warm, family-feel, and well-led school that provides a creative curriculum and we are in our tenth year!
