I will never recommend this school to anyone. I refused to go in when I was october of my year 10 in 2018 after one of the teachers turned the mock exams and GCSE'S into a competition with another teacher and class and a few other things Pressure got so bad I ended up threatening to kill myself if my parents sent me in. My parents had a meeting with the headteacher two days later, only to have them threaten to fine my parents and report them to the school district if I did not come in. Obviously they did not force me in and after only 3 days off, they called the school district head and someone came over to the house. The person who came was baffled as to why they had called them as it was clear I was serious and that it had only been 3 days. We felt relieved to have someone on our side and she fought with us. The headteacher was nasty and was not understanding about my mental health. For the first two months, the school sent work home for me which I would do at my mom's workplace. However, that all changed after the new year and they refused to send me anything home. As I was a good pupil who did not cause any problems, a few teachers who had me since the beginning knew things were bad if I was refusing to come in, had offered to come and tutor me in their own time for free. I will be forever grateful for them but the sight of them made me have panic attacks, which became a regular thing. After about 6 months of no work or support, I got diagnosed with severe anxiety from school and autism, aswell as PTSD and depression caused from school. I can't even look at the school or be out at the time school comes out because it causes me too much stress. Again, the school was no help at all, and the school district was forced to step in and got me in a smaller school for people who struggle in big schools and a place called citywall. All hallows was forced to pay for citywall which accosted them about £150,000 + a year which I stayed for 6 years, which might I add is karma. If I have kids, I will never send them to a school like this.
Overall, my time at All Hallows was very mediocre. Granted it’s better than most schools in Salford and it is great for education (mostly). However, there is problems that can’t be ignored. Firstly, certain teachers act like control freaks and act as if they are above their students. This does not apply to most teachers but most are more lenient with the rules to the students that don’t behave well. Secondly, there is some issues with the bullying in the school, the staff tell students to tell someone but most of the time this will not solve a problem and often it worsens the situation. Also, when students deal with this by themselves, they are wrongly disciplined. Thirdly, inside the building is cramped and many students feel overwhelmed by the little space they have to move around the building. The outdoor environment is nowhere near bad. However, the equipment on the MUGA is very limited. A way to stop this is by possibly giving the students more footballs, basketball, etc. Finally, the canteen area is very low quality, food often being undercooked or watery, this has been a problem that has been discussed many of times with little improvement.
I use to go to this school it’s a DISGRACE you can’t go toilet when you need it once one of my peers needed a toilet the teacher said no my peer said he was going to Pee on the floor and the teach still said no and he ended up peeing on the floor which was not very hygienic but all because of the teacher you can’t use toilets during class at dinner you have to wait 30 minutes to use the toilet there’s only 2 toilets for boys and there’s about 500 boys in the school which is a disgrace I would NOT place your child in this school on less you want them to have shocking mental health,Being in over crowded corridors and being given C3S everyday because of either sticking up for him self asking to go toilet having a sip of water or losing there book or pen they are too strict no teachers help you all classrooms are overcrowded every time you put ur hand up for help the teacher ignores you and says you should know this Dinners are therey expensive meal deal is £5:50 None of the teachers in that school care about your mental health all they care about is jewellery, tattoos,Lack of equipment technically everything but your mental health all teachers are cruel to students in all sorts of different ways. Favourtism is a big thing in all hallows. It’s that bad I don’t have one good thing to say. Teachers shout at you a lot over strict Rules are 100 percent bad some of the rules are you have to ask to take blazer off you have to ask to have a drink of your own water ask to go toilet (Which they never let you go) You cannot shout when you are OUTSIDE In the play ground you cannot play games such as tag so how are we suppose to burn our energy to be honest I was really scared of going in school because all the teachers use to bully me and pick on me for no reason and then I got given a £60 pound fee which was for missing school which is wrong because I was so scared I use to cry to my mum and begged to have a day off because all the horrid teachers who use to bully me for no reason
Teachers don't care about students safety and don't know what students go through all they care about is getting paid and that's it. They don't care how students feel, they don't ask students questions, like what would help them. They don't want students to be safe. Students suffer and teachers don't care about it. Teachers don't know how to control students behaviour, and because of it students don't feel safe or they feel less confident about themselves. Students don't have any confidence or self esteem left in them because horrible people have ruined it for them and left nothing but scars.
to the people who want to consider this school, you should because this is the only decent school in salford. other schools like oasis, albion, buile hill don't treat their kids as well as they do here. tips for this school is that:
- be on time, they care a lot if you aren't on time to lesson
- consider the amount of corridor space, small school with too many kids
- school doesn't do many trips, this is not a trip school. if there is one, it's usually to
another country.
- just make sure you try to follow the rules, some teachers really take the piss.
only good salford school - massive inexclusive culture at this school
the school is first of all small but they are expanding it ( more people are leaving than joining the school ). I don't like the fact that some of the people in this school make fun of people that aren't in a friendship group or just treat people who are usually alone horrible but overall the kids at this school are okay. most teachers are okay except mrs porter who literally doesn't know how to teach she needs to go to old people housing ibr. pretty small, the school is okay, canteen food can be very runny, the play area is decent and kind of big, when moving to your next lesson its very cramped and it's small to be getting around.
i like the people they are really nice, the teachers are always attacking you and giving you c1,2,3 for no reason. i like the food its sometimes watery, i dont really like how overcrowded the school is though
its actually good , good education and the teachers are nice, most of them. some of the food is runny you know and stuff like that but all hallows apart from the litter, the large enrollment and some teachers, its good.
right the thing about this school is that its alright, its just that the school is really small. like there is too much people enrolled. and there's meant to be only 25 people per set but full sets have 28 - 35 pupils and its acctually really annoying now. also this school has some of the most stupidist and strictest rules. some teachers don't know how to teach like loads of people just don't get what the teachers say and stuff. but overall id say its pretty average. the canteen is very small and the playground is horribke but actually the schoo, is having an expansion for 5 aditional classrooms, and they are extending the canteen so that the pupil number goes up to 750. the school is getting better now so im glad that they are expanding and trying to fix their problems. location is pretty unsafe.
Lack of Safeguarding, No Regard for Students and Rape Culture
Worst years of my life were spent here. Firstly, the teaching is terrible. 30-35 kids per class, when you are struggling it’s impossible for the teacher to help you because they are dealing with bad behaviour. Secondly, the safe guarding is horrendous. Multiple instances of knives being brought into school, drugs ect. Don’t even get me started on the safety issues my peers have experienced that have just been ignored by teachers. The pastoral team have punished girls for getting their ‘pictures’ sent around on social media instead of punishing the people spreading it. A culture of victim blaming and misogyny. Oh and you bet when Ofsed comes around they hide all the ‘bad kids’ in seclusion, so don’t trust those ‘good’ Ofsed reports. The school and teachers have no regard for the area they teach, not taking into consideration the levels of poverty a lot of these children go home to. Only taking these things into consideration when it benefits them i.e. justifying a boy assaulting a girl because ‘he has a bad home life’ (yes this happened). Please don’t consider placing your children here, unless you want them squeezed into a classroom that doesn’t have enough chairs for the amount students.
This school is terrible with mental health, does not support students properly and doesn't care about weather students are happy, there are a few counselors ect. (most of which don't help) but other than that they couldn't care less. Have anxiety over certain things? Get over it? They also have a rule where you can only user certain toilets depending on what year you are in, on your period? Too bad that's a detention for being in the wrong bathroom. The teachers just make students feel on edge. Do not go to this school, I know so many people who have had to take students out of this school because their mental heath suffered. There are classes with up to 34 children and need Extra tables and chairs to be added to rooms. Seems like it would be hard to concentrate in class don't you think?

I went here a few years back and i’m so happy i left the teachers do nothing but make the children feel on edge and anxious, wouldn’t recommend and my mental health has improved so much since leaving. the children are horrible and i can’t say one good thing about the school!!!
This school is good but the litter - NOT SO GOOD ON THAT
My time at All Hallows has truly been good. I transferred here from the Albion, it's a better school than Albion by a lot, I love All Hallows and hopefully a lot of you can come to this school. The kids are really nice, I mean sometimes people make fun of each other but most of the time it's as a funny little giddy joke. I will always love this school. Food is good but sometimes watery, this school has some litter sometimes but the people and staff itself are really good. Really good education. If you want your child to have good education, come here. If you want an decent school come here. If you want a massive school don't come cause this high school is TiNy. Easy to find your way around. If you want a school with a clean environment, 50/50. Most of time its clean its just them times when it just happens and when I say it happens. It HAPPENS. Paper, bottles, cake crumbs. Those are common. Food stains are rare. But this school is a 8/10 for me. And by the way, all bad reviews are fake cause that means the person hasn't gone to this school.
lost respect for the school, it has a genuine rape problem , in fact it provides every social issue that’s very badly dealt with. Pupils have no freedom , because we’ve always been taught to ask if we can have a DRINK of water, our own water, in class! Also not allowed TO GO TOILET during lesson, both of these actions are basic human rights which we should not have to ask permission for. Pupils do not get punished at all, for any sort of homophobia, pupils literally shout the f slur at each other , and pupils are also encouraged to make rape comments 🥰
Most senior leaders in this school are covert racists.Picked and victimised my child throughout his time in the school. They made his life hell with the constant picking on.Kicked him out of leavers assembly and withdrew his invitation to prom. All it takes for them is for the child to stand up and speak up for himself and they class it as being rude or intimidating.
Their constant reports and picking on has affected my child's mental health badly.

Amazing school and the Education here is good just be careful tho at this school here are gay ppl and kissing corners but the school is very good overall
there is a lot of favouritism here. and it's usually towards the ones who are more badly behaved. i think it's because the teachers are scared of provoking the more badly behaved ones in case things take a turn for the worse. either way, it's unfair. the food is bad imo, usually too watery, undercooked or flavourless so i usually bring my own lunch. litter on the floors and members of staff are very bad at dealing with bullying. they see it happening right in front of them and do nothing. plus the rule on masks is so wack. masks are compulsory in the halls where nobody is around, but optional in the classroom where you're sat directly next to someone? and there aren't very many resources in the school. gluesticks and felt pens often go missing.
this is school is useless your not aloud to hang around other years with your bubbles but when your outside of school you don’t, and you have to wear a mask when your walking around the halls but when your in class you don’t have to like what the hell.
