Great school for equality and education
Poorly run school
Poor handling of complaints. Teachers don't know whether they are coming or going..Ofsted raises concerns about their ability to teach and engage pupils. Do your child a favour and send them to another school. Poor CCTV on site

He had some issues at 1st due to language difficulties (we had lived in 3 other countries in his 1st five years of life) .
The school however have been excellent getting additional help where needed and ensured he has made steady progress. They have been kind and treated him really well IMHO. His current teacher genuinely cares for him though is also quick to discipline him and others where needed (as much as one can these days) He could not be happier in the school.
The school is like the United Nations with children of many nationalities there. Our son is mixed race Chinese / English there was only one other Chinese child in his year to start with, now there are many due to the Hong Kong citizens taking the British passports that were on offer . All have been made welcome and I see many parents there picking up their children who all seem happy. Our son has best friends of Indian and Polish heritage.
The school like anywhere has its issues with naughty children so It’s not all sweetness and light. He was bullied two years ago and in my opinion the school did as much as could reasonably expected including segregation to deal with it .
If this school and its staff were in Stockton Heath people would be waxing lyrical about it . It is however in Latchford, and that brings a greater mixed bag of cultures and social standing of the families attending. The school seems to treat everyone fairly and does not seem to discriminate in any way . I am very happy with my son attending there and unlike some parents who have elected to take their child to a school in “ better area” I would refuse . The school does a great job with the budget it has and the local catchment area should be thankful for it .
