The senior management team consisted of a bully, a gossip, and an ineffectual. I regret sending my children there and it was a significant waste of money. Many disappointed families I know have withdrawn their children.
If there is a problem or help is requested, the suggestion is most likely ‘there are other schools’ and this for families with multiple children who have attended since nursery.
They just don’t care for anything other than self-promotion.
The school board is also weak and always support the SMT or head teachers, even when they have behaved appallingly - the last two of whom have been bullies to staff, parents, and pupils.
If you can 100% guarantee your children will never require any pastoral care, have any mental health problems, or fall behind academically for any reason, then maybe it’s for you.
There may be great reviews, they will be from parents of or academic pupils who never encountered any problems or require help from senior management, or were in the cliques, or were one of the favourites.
This is an amazing school, it has loads opportunities that really let students thrive. It has excellent support for those with special needs and it even has a French school as part of it. TOTAL French school provide a very unique way of learning, with a hybrid curriculum were some subjects are taught in French and some in English.
Albyn also offers a chance to learn French, German, Classics, Spanish and previously Mandarin.
Students have a safe and stable environment where they can learn, bullying is not a problem.
I would highly recommend this school!!!
