My son is soon to leave Abbs Cross to join another school due to multiple issues with teachers and students alike. He has been a victim of bullying and quite frankly what I would consider to be bias. My son has had his personal belongings stolen with no action taken by staff but as soon as my son gets upset and loses his temper, they want to punish him in the form of isolation. It seems to be 1 rule for 1 and another rule for everybody else.
Despite having meetings with the school about how my son is punished and being promised that things would change, nothing seems to have changed. It's empty promise after empty promise.
I've had just about enough and I'm now calling for ALL parents to NOT send their child to this horrific school.
Had a great reputation when I was growing up, but since the influx of schools becoming academies, it would seem the standards have dropped significantly.
Unfortunately this school does show a caring nature to the kids. Despite all the kids have been through in the past couple of years they did not provide a fair assessment of the kids work in their final GCSEs. Very disappointing.
Taking kids miles away for prom but with no transportation options for them to return at 11pm. Where is the consideration of their well-being and safety! But everyone has a car or can drive the distance to collect the kids which means they will miss out on prom. School originally had a coach to make sure everyone gets back but for some reason know to them they cancelled it.
The outset of the school is actually very good , staff are very good and the loxford trust since taking over have implemented great changes to the school and at the moment coronavirus restrictions are okay with only the minors of years 11and 10 having to walk down the same one way corridor
Amazing! Kids were given full time tabled lessons though out. My child’s learning didn’t suffer at all. Weekly phone calls and check ups. Couldn’t be happier x

Avoid unless you want endless problems.
