STAY CLEAR

Stay clear ….“They treated me and my son with a degree of disrespect that you would not believe, until it actually happens to you.” kids have been taken to hospital children coming out bruised and with injuries I was not prepared for the degree of power plays, sabotage, and just…evil…I experienced.
Some of the neglect that Iv witnessed are …Football across face
Child throwing my child to the floor. I witnessed this.
Always coming in with marks of which I confront school with.
Always coming home with ripped trousers and marks to his knees.
Boys pushing him into a wall
Always falling over and banging his face or nose School rang me on this occasion.
Boy spitting in his face
coming home covered in blue dye, took ages to get off even days later, my son very upset by this because he doesn’t like being dirty.
wet himself on an occasion because he said he couldn’t go to the toilet and teachers didn’t even notice and believe me he stunk to high heavens, this could have led to bullying.
Black eyes from school
I was at the school and me and my family witnessed him being singled out in the yard. He was wandering around on his own with no one wanting to play with him or acknowledge him school said that he was fine. He clearly wasn’t. Wandering around looking lost biting his nails. Broke my heart.
My child always try’s to put a smile on his face regardless of anything but every night before school he would ask to stay at home with me and that school is the worst.

Honest review by a student

Honest review off a student. Mostly good teachers, some are understanding, but not all. Bad at supporting children with special needs (mostly mentally and sometimes physically). I have ASD and they are bad at helping. They kicked out one of my relatives who used to be there just because he had ADHD. Some teachers cant control the class when it's noisy. When it comes to class changeover, Its a little extreme when trying to get past crowds. People push and shove. The clubs that they do are acceptably good, especially the drama club and the LGBT+ club. They both make sure that you have a safe space in the clubs. They also have their own Army Cadet detachment. I went for 2 years, it was a good experience. The school meals taste good, and the deserts are even better! The biggest issues are: the fact that whenever a student uses their voice, they ignore them, lack of support to those who need it, and the toilets. They put shutters on the toilets. I understand that it is to stop students from skipping classes in there, but it is also taking away human rights. Although they give you allocated times to use them, you got to go when you need to go. If you ask during lesson, they say no even though they are supposed to 'call a teacher to take you'. And even if you go to use it at the allocated times, you wait in a queue and the queue is so long that you dont even get to use it. I know im a student there, but please listen to me. Send them somewhere better please.

EA attention span

I'm in yr9 and I hate it there. They claimed to care about ur mental health but they don't. They send you out for having ur head down. Or if you sh they ring home and then ignore your problems (based off my experience).
They don't sort out bullying as i have been followed around school, ganged up on and cornered and they do nothing but send me to my own lesson. They don't care unless we're sat there doing work in our lessons

It’s a bad school

The school doesn’t do anything about bullying or people’s mental health they make it worse and they remind people daily that it’s their fault if something happens to them I would never recommend this school to anyone

It's not a school it's a HELL

Horriable experience on 23rd May 2022, my 15 year old was attacked by an other insane boy in the school on a football field in front of the teacher. My son's leg was broken and this boy sat on his chest and started beating him on his face and he was saved by his friends. School didn't do anything despite of several emails and calls my son was lying on the school football field for 4 hours to wait for the ambulance. They didn't even bother to call us when my son was getting his surgery in hospital. Please becareful and don't send your kids to this school.

This school is not up to standard they constantly argue with the students and do not resolve any problems they do not let students go to the toilet when they are desperate and still expect them to concentrate this is outrageous I don’t not recommend this school for ur children!

its okay but

personally the school is okay but the teachers really need to sort themselves out with bullying the teacher had just watched my brother get bullied in the school yard and didn’t do anything or go and ask if he was okay overall the school is okay if you know people who go there

Average

Pretty okay school, often fights but nothing too serious. Good teachers, healthy food, always support if you need it.

Really bad school

Full of gypsy’s and bullies, teachers dont care and when they “do something” bullying gets worse. they convince us to act like robots when ofsted come in and teachers are biased. During corona when school opened optionally the teachers didnt allow us to take pictures because they dont want images of them not following social distancing rules leaked to the council
